designer, marketer, Creative problem solver

Hi, I'm Maggie

I’m one of *those* creatives who couldn't stop drawing as a kid, so I decided to make a career out of it. I love brands that lean into design craft and enjoy illustration and hand lettering. Ultimately I'm fascinated by the ever changing marketing landscape, watching strategy and creativity in action creating authentic connections with audiences.

What I'm currently working on:
Running 365 miles in 2026
Getting back into quilting
Designing my first typeface (stay tuned!)

Surprise!

I went to journalism school

That's right, I studied the marketing side of journalism. Specially diving into how brands strategically communicate. All with a side of graphic design.

I'm not just an artist: I'm a creative communicator. I'm interested in how and why brands successfully communicate, while also making things look nice.

My bachelor's degree is in Strategic Communication from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at UW-Madison. The breadth of this program allowed me to deepen my understanding of communication and marketing while also honing my design skills.
